ABOUT THIS SITE
This site is about my truck, my 1971 GMC C10. It was my first vehicle that I purchased when I was 15 years old in May of 1997. Since purchasing it I have spent lots of time and money turning it into what it is today, and continue doing more to it. It is my daily driver, although it hasn't always been. I have had other vehicles along the way while this one sat in the garage, but this one has always been my primary affection. This site is pretty much dedicated to my truck...ORANGE!

ABOUT THE SITE NAME
When I first decided to build a full blown website for my truck, choosing a site name was important. With Orange.com being taken by the large mobile provider, I had no chance of ever getting that one. So, SlickOrange.com it was. Not that my truck is the slickest out there, but it is slick, and it is definitely orange. So, it works.

ABOUT THE TRUCK
This is what I suppose most of you came to this page for?

The truck, as I mentioned is a 1971 GMC C10. The 67-72 Chevy/GMC trucks are pretty popular, and are a favorite among collectors and auto enthusiasts worldwide. The truck was originally purchased in Birmingham, AL. I am the second owner of the truck. It wasn't optioned out too well, so everything has been an add-on pretty much. ABOUT ME
Well, I guess just the basics will do.

My name is Dalton Blevins, and I reside in Ringgold, GA. I am a CAD Designer by trade, but also have a background in quite a few other areas. I tinker with computers a bit, and help my dad in construction a little.

My most immediate affection in life is Jesus Christ, who is the salvation of my soul. Please check out one of the banners or links on the various places of my site for some information on this if you don't take it seriously or haven't ever been born again. 10 out of 10 people die, and eternity is real.

I am married, and as of August 17, 2007 have 1 little girl.
